## DAily Agenda:

## This Week:In an attempt to differentiate instruction and help each student catch up to grade level standards our class will be using Accelerated Math. As a class we will be working to mastery on the following standards. Each student must master each standard with an 80% or better to move on to the next standard. Note: Each Standard is worth 50 points, so if you miss a problem it will count against your grade! I will help you on practices and Exercises; however, I will not help you on a test!To access your assignment please go to: Accelerated Math*click on Student and Login (same as STAR) *Click Stalbaum 7th Period *Complete your Practice/Test/Exercise. If you have more than 1 assignment listed, do them in this order: 1. Test 2. Exercise 3. Practice. SHOW ALL WORK: on THES I expect that each student will finish Standards 1-4by Monday 1. Adding Unlike FractionsObjective: Students will be able to add fractions together that have unlike denominators and simplify their answers. 2. Subtracting Unlike FractionsObjective: Students will be able to subtract fractions together that have unlike denominators and simplify their answers. 3. Multiplying FractionsObjective: Students will be able to multiply fractions together and simplify their answers. 4. Dividing FractionsObjective: Students will be able divide fractions together and simplify their answers. 5. Divide Mixed NumbersObjective: Students will be able to change mixed numbers into improper fractions, divide them together, then reduce their answers. 6. Improper Fractions to Mixed NumbersObjective: Students will be able to change improper fractions to simplified mixed numbers. 7. Subtracting Fractions with Mixed NumbersObjective: Students will be able to subtract fractions with mixed numbers. 8. Multiplying Mixed NumbersObjective: Students will be able to multiply mixed numbers and simplify their answers. 9. Converting Between C and F. Objective: Students will be able to convert temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit and back. Please keep in mind these are supplemental assignments. You may receive additional paper and pencil assignments, tests, or quizzes to go along with each objective, as I see fit. Please Note: If you do not complete Standards 1-4 this week you will receive an after school detention to complete them. This is all that we are doing in class, so you have plenty of time to get help. |
